Apples to apples, year over year

$1,200 vs. $7,000+ a year.
Same job.

The founder of BuildWith Tracker also runs a real construction company (JMJ Contracting and Development) and pays for both. The comparison below is straight from his own ledger.

Procore GC Enhanced
Over $7,000 / year
What a real signed sub-$50M GC contract looks like
$7,000+/year
  • Drawings, RFIs, change orders, daily reports, schedule, submittals — the GC core
  • Capped by Annual Construction Volume (ACV); go over and your bill goes up
  • 12-month commitment, quarterly billing, Net 30
  • Per Procore: pricing varies by ACV tier and company size
BuildWith Tracker Pro
$1,200 / year
That's $100/month, flat
$1,200/year
  • Same GC toolset — drawings, RFIs, change orders, daily reports, schedule, more
  • No construction volume cap — build as much as you want
  • No annual contract. Month-to-month. Cancel anytime.
  • Roughly 83% cheaper, year over year

Procore pricing varies by company size and ACV tier. The "$7,000+/year" figure here reflects what real signed sub-$50M GC contracts in the GC Enhanced tier look like. Your Procore quote may be higher or lower depending on size; either way the math leans the same way.

Honest about who this is for

Built for you if…
  • You're a GC, builder, or developer running $5M–$50M in projects
  • You're tired of paying enterprise-tier prices for a 5-person company
  • You need drawings, RFIs, change orders, daily reports — the actual job tools
  • You want to share project info with owners and architects without buying them seats
  • You want to be able to cancel without 12 months of regret
Not for you if…
  • You're a $500M+ ENR-ranked GC — you need Procore's enterprise integrations
  • You're a single-trade sub looking for time-card / job-costing software
  • You need deep ERP integrations (Sage 300 CRE, Vista, etc.)
  • You need a polished mobile-first experience with offline mode
  • You want hand-holding implementation services and a dedicated CSM

Skeptical? Good.

Is BWT actually cheaper, or do you nickel-and-dime on add-ons?
$100/month flat. No per-user charges, no per-project charges, no ACV cap, no add-ons. The Pro tier includes everything — drawings, budget, bids, RFIs, change orders, invoices, daily reports, schedule, punchlist, photos, public project pages, AI permit extraction, email-in.
Why is it so much cheaper than Procore?
Procore sells to enterprise GCs. They have hundreds of salespeople, customer success managers, and an entire ecosystem of integrations and add-on products. We're a focused tool for sub-$50M builders who don't need any of that. Lower overhead, lower price.
Are you going to disappear next year?
James (the founder) runs a real construction business that uses BWT for actual projects every day. The tool exists because he needed it. It's not VC-funded so we're not chasing a 10x exit, and we're not going to ghost you for a bigger logo.
Can I migrate my existing Procore data?
Yes — most prospects import their drawings, budget, and contact directory in the first week. Procore's data export tools cover the basics (drawings, RFIs, daily logs) and we'll bulk-import them via CSV or API.
What about Procore's mobile app and integrations?
Honest answer: Procore's mobile app is more polished. Their integrations with QuickBooks, Sage, etc. are deeper. If those are deal-breakers, Procore is the right call. If you can use BWT on a tablet in the field and don't need ERP integration today, you'll save thousands.
What's the catch on the free trial?
No credit card up front. Use it on a real project. If you like it, the Pro plan is $100/month month-to-month. If you don't, you walk away with no charges and your data still exportable.
